I want to download a good image converter that will convert .Gif .PNG and most other image formats to .JPG's. Can anyone recommend one, please?

GraphicConverter has been a MAC staple for over 20 years. Not sure if there's anything better by now, but you can't really go wrong with it.

    GraphicConverter. Yep.
    Its fantastic. Agree.
Its an essential tool to convert graphic formats to defined pixel counts and formats that are web site friendly.

Preview, which you already have will convert just about any image file you want to jpg.
You may have to use the option key on launch for some of the more obscure formats.

Thanks Brian. Absolutely relevent and useful.
I think Preview is a little gem and often forgotten. I regularly use it to resize quickly but also I use the annotate function a lot and I use the screen capture functions a lot for things like school projects with the kids.

And it's option key on save as mentioned in the article for extra formats, not as I mistakenly remembered.
