Image re sizer

Hello I'm looking for a cheap or preferabily free app that can do one thing I have yet to find any other app other than apple works able to do. Save an image in jpg format as a specified taget MB size. I would like an app where I can take my photo and specify a size to make and it saves it as that size of file. Any reccomendations would be appreacted.

Have you tried GraphicConverter? I think it can do that.

Photoshop Elements doesn't directly do that, but it comes pretty close in its Save for Web feature.

Smallimage2 might be something to look at.

I really find Imagewell to work well for me, and it is free.

I absolutely love EasyCrop. It has a very clean, simple look, and it will allow you to select a target size and pick the compression level for you. It's NOT free, unfortunately, but at $11.95 it's what I would call "cheap." 🙂
