    Hi,

I am looking for an SDK or even some sample code I can modify for some relatively simple image recognition.

I want to be able to highlight an distinct image. The image could be a bird, plane, car, building, ect..

Looking to port this application over to android eventually as well.

Not sure I have ever seen "simple" "image" "recognition" in the same sentence before.

    Joking of course.

    Good luck!

Take a look at the OpenCV project. It does hardware-acellerated image recognition in an open source-cross-platform way.

    It's not simple however.

"simple image recognition" is kind of like "easy neurosurgery."

Duncan C, this thread was created Sep 23, 2010 and the OP has not been active on the forums since that day. I suspect they found a solution long ago or gave up.
