Images Allegedly Show New iPhone 13 Case Colors Ahead of Apple Event

This was one of the things I loved about the iPhone X leather case. It raised the thickness of the device flush with the camera module so that the phone would lie flat on a surface.

The 12 models have cases with a plastic "ring" around the camera module area, which creates just enough of a difference between the case surface and the plastic that the phone will wobble or rock a tiny bit while lying on a flat surface. I really hope they don't do that again with the cases this year.
 
These all look super similar to what’s already available. Aside from the pink. Also the white has a very pink hue to it. I’m calling partial BS.

Though the “blackish green“ and “purplish red” seem interesting! 🤪🤪🤪

Because if they made a case to be flush with the pro max camera it would be at least a 3/4inch thick, maybe more. And be heavy, etc etc. I agree it’s a wobbly mess. Part of the reason I would never buy that giant behemoth anyway.

I agree with you there. I feel like for someone already comfortable with the size and weight of the Pro Max, what's another 3/4" anyway?

But for the rest of us who'd take the 12 mini or 12/12 Pro size, I would much rather have the case be flush with the cameras so that the phone would lie flat on a table and not wobble when you're using it that way.

Second one is that they're thin enough for Magsafe to work through them? Maybe the magnets in the 13 have been strengthened and it isn't necessary to build into the case.

I agree with you, my first thought was that 1) the lip/hump on the case for the camera cut out was VERY ugly, and 2) this has to be fake when the MagSafe rings were no-where to be found.

But then hey, I guess we have to wait until tomorrow to find out. lol
(AND I sincerely hope the cases in the first picture to be fake.......)
 
Well if the top photo is accurate, and Apple follows past practices, it may well mean we're finally getting a good solid medium green for watchbands after years of not-so-near misses that are either light pastels or so dark they're nearly black. Now if they could work on a good bright saturated, non-pastel purple.

Very nice, but not at the price Apple charges for its own branded cases. 😒 💸 I can get decent cases from Spigen, Incipio, Otter, Belkin, etc. for way less money.

jesus christ those are huge bumps. absolutely hideous. and terrible for wireless charging in cars (larger flat surfaces)
 
I hate how we never get the cool colors with the Pro models. You telling me no one with a $1500 wants a red iPhone?!?! I do!!!

They are literally the same as other colors we’ve had time and time again. Apple is so unimaginative with colors. Yay, another green, blue, and orange shade. Just like every single season since the dawn of time.

There are only so many colors in the visible light spectrum. What do you suggest they do?
 
Well, these cases are on Apple's site now, and the bump around the camera cutout is real. I've always loved the leather cases, but now we can't even get an Apple case to make our phones lay flat? Ugh...makes me want to hold onto my XS for another year.
