I have pictures in Iphoto that I would like to put back on my digital camera. Iphoto doesn't allow me to drag them back on my camera. Also, a drive letter doesn't show on my desktop when plugging in the camera. Iphoto asks me to import the photos and that's all.

What kind of camera is it? You will likely have to drag the photo's to the desktop, then directly into the correct file path on the camera.

If it's not showing up on the desktop, you may have to disable iPhoto from automatically launching when you plug in the camera. Do that by selecting iPhoto, Preferences, General, and then the "Connecting Camera Opens" option. Try selecting no application.
