Hi,

When I receive an email with embedded images (like a newsletter for example), the images show up as icons in the message rather than as the images themselves. If I double click they open in preview, but I would like them displayed in the message itself like it is supposed to be. Thank you.

Your setup does not allow linked images in HTML mail to be downloaded automatically:
  1. Select Mail>Preferences...
  2. Click the Viewing tab.
  3. Check Display remote images in HTML messages
Done.

Thanks. I should have said I already had that checked.
The issue is not that the images are not downloaded. Rather, they are downloaded but are shown as icons. If I single click the icon and press the space bar ("Quick Look") it can see the image. If I double click, it opens fine in preview. See the attached screenshots of what I'm talking about. Thank you.
