When I go to a site only a few images show up. Then I refresh a few will show, then refresh again, and less will show.

Any ideas of why this would be happening? I switched to FF and it doesn't do it there but I really like safari and want to use it instead of FF.

I have tried the Preferences > Appearance and the show images is checked.

It is really annoying.

do you have any extensions in safari installed that might be blocking them like adbloker or click2flash?

No, I haven't installed anything. I just got this Mac off craigslist and I had to do a fresh install of OS Lion. So as far as I know theres no extensions installed.

Also, there are time when I try to access a site I am getting

Safari can't open the page.

And this just happened when I went to youtube

I'm having the same issue...

It started for me about two weeks ago when I got U-Verse internet. I've scoured the U-Verse help and couldn't find anything so I starting looking for Safari issues which led me to this forum.

Does anyone have any idea of what happened? What can be done to fix it?
