I wasnt aware of this, thanks for letting me know. Still i kinda believe that if one isn't satisfied with the Macbooks screen, why get it in the first place? Maybe Apple wants to create more conveniences but all in the name of selling!
The Macbook's screen is fine for portable use, but many of us like having a bigger display when we're at home.

The Logitech Solar BT keyboard is definitely a pretty sweet bit of tech. Not only do you not have to worry about replacing the battery, but it can also be simultaneously synced with up to three devices at once. The only thing is that it lacks some of the shortcut keys, and you can't set it to default to the F keys Oh, and it's plastic.

I thought I made it clear. The battery life is unacceptable.
I had the original three battery wireless keyboard bought in 2008. I replaced the batteries in that every 2-3 months.
It quit working about a year ago.

I bought the current wireless keyboard along with a replacement Magic Trackpad last night (shattered the glass on the old one). My trackpads batteries would last about three months as well. I wonder if the fact the current keyboard uses two batteries is why you report less usage.

I still havent understood what is the deal with the possibility that Apple might release a backlit keyboard? Will it happen or not? Could those images in the beginning of the thread be a hoax?
