The Veyron is a hideous car.

If I was going to shell out that kind of moolah for a machine that impractical to drive, I'd get a RR.

I would buy a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab 4x4, with a Cummins Diesel, with plenty of options. Then throw on a 6 inch lift with 35's and some nice 20 inch rims. Road Armor front and rear bumpers, with lights and a winch. Spray in bed liner, dark tinted windows. This would be my work truck or wanting to take the quads to the dunes, boat to the lake. Then my everyday car would be one of those new Jetta TDI's, with a manual. Oh and then I would buy a nice house, probably $500,000-800,000 (Custom Built). Then invest the rest, yep.

Exactly, you can buy some nice used airplanes for around $40,000. Hell, even $25,000-30,000.

I guess you're right, but regardless of the initial price, that's a lot to pay for a car every year.

Who knows when this will be a viable product.

I've been following this company for years. Their XM-2 was test flown in 1962. Been a long journey. Hopefully one that comes to fruition.
