Imagine if no Verizon iPhone is announced tomorrow

It's just a phone people! The biggest letdown in 2011 will be if the economy gets worse and unemployment levels don't go down. The Verizon iPhone threads will still exist and people will still speculate.

However if Verizon doesn't get the iPhone by 2012 i don't think they are ever going to get it. My theory is that apple may be waiting till both AT&T and Verizon have their LTE network rolled out and to see how AT&T's network performs. And maybe if their LTE network performs better than they won't offer the iPhone to Verizon.

I see threads all around they internet saying that apple has to let verizon carry it. They don't HAVE to do anything.

No, I don't think it would rate the biggest disappointment in 2011. Its only a phone. There are more important things in life to get worked up over. Having an iPhone on a different carrier is not one of those.

The second those invitations went out they were claiming that it was 100% definitely the verizion iPhone.
