I recently saw Superman Returns, Batman Begins and Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire all on Imax if and when there is a movie on Imax I would rather pay and see it in all its glory then pay to see it on a small screen.
And this is why movies need to be simul-released on DVD and theaters at the same time. Maybe not Harry Potter, but Batman Lori and I decided to wait until DVD to see (I mean after Batman/Robin, do you really think I have reason to have faith in the franchise?). Batman in IMAX...I was really upset that we didn't go see it. I let my hope get me to see B/R in theaters, but despair kept me from BB...:(

Just me??

it is just me or does anyone else get nautious in imax movies? i feel like i'm going to float out of my chair or something... perhaps i'm crazy.

The last movie I saw at an IMAX was T-Rex (3-D); it was amazing. You really feel like it's real.

My favorite part is always the introduction where they show-off their sound system (located conveniently behind the semi-translucent screen) and place you in a tropical rain-forest and then in the center of an F-5 tornado. I love that part! :D (I'm not sure that all IMAX theaters do this though.)

Yeah, they do that at out IMAX theater too. I have seen a few movies there and loved them both. If you haven't been to one, you have to check it out.
