I have moved on to a better offering.

I use 3uTools for Mac, now. No complaints.

anytrans sounds interesting but seems to have some other tools that are questionable in terms of phone lock bypass

I ended up purchasing software that was unlimited phones as long as it was on one computer which is fine with me.
I also want to hear if any of your alternate apps can find Apple Music to download?

I am (or maybe I should say was) a new user to iMazing, but it also can't do what I thought would be easy for it to do. I use an old iPhone in an older car with a radio that has iPod interface but no Apple CarPlay.

I was switching old devices around to drop the ancient 30-pin iPhone 4 out for an old iPhone 5C, but discovered that somehow it had Apple Music deleted. Yes its a crappy old phone, but newer than the iPhone 4 and I can leave it in the truck and no one in their right mind would bother stealing it even if they did see it. Anyway, after discovering the Apple Music app was missing I also discovered the Wi-Fi is out. I can use my PC to sync music files onto it, but picked up iMazing to get Apple Music app on the 5C to make it usable ... but iMazing can't do the one thing I wanted it for.

I can seeming put all sorts of other apps onto the iPhone 5C via iMazing, but even after activating an Apple Music subscription on my current iPhone, iMazing keeps saying "Apple Music has not yet been acquired by the Apple Account ..."

Why does iMazing have a problem downloading apps that all Apple device owners can already get for free such that Apple doesn't even bother connecting the app to the owner's Apple Account?

Agreed. The new version three requires you to purchase a new license for every device that you connect at $35 each. This includes accessing all backups from old phones. Once you have linked old backups for an iPhone 5 or six, your licenses, have all been used up with no way to release them unless you purchase more. The old version did not do this. I no longer recommend this software. I did contact Support and they wanted me to provide formal documentation that I recycled these phones in 2016 and 2018. I will not be purchasing future versions or recommending this program until they have a licensing program similar to their previous version.
exactly why I dumped them and will never recommend them since its essentially a forced subscription model now...
