You'll never get Apple Watch to automatically delete its local messages in sync with iCloud. It doesn't work. It never has and probably never will. Wow, the Watch thing is kind of a pain. I've got a GPS dog tracker collar, and I've turned on the option to txt me if the dog leaves the house. Of course most of time the doggie is with me. But that gives me one thread of txts a day going on walks.
