iMessage and SMS

So I updated to iOS 5 on my iphone and my friend on his iPad. He also has a Droid Bionic. Now him and I were talking via iMessage, but will it also send to his SMS on his bionic? Does anyone know how it will work?

It's the same as if he had 2 different phone numbers. You have to choose what number (or email address in this case) you want to text.

If iMessage is successfully delivered from your iPhone to his iPad, no, it is not supposed to send SMS to his bionic.

Woah i'd not even thought of that, i think i completely forgot some people don't use iPhone hahaa....
