iMessage audio not kept

I have set my iPhone and iPad to keep my audio iMessages forever. However, for my Mac (running 10.13.3), there is no explicit option of how long to keep audio messages. And it seems they disappear after 2 mins automatically.

Is there any way to manually change it so that everything's kept forever?
