iMessage beta... can't see my buddy list

i had aim before and after i installed iMessage beta, i can't see my buddy list.

when i click messages on top left of the screen, i made sure i'm online and that aim is checked. still can't see my buddy list though 😕 anyone?

hmm it says 1.. i'm assuming it's not picking up my aim contacts? how can i fix that?

I really can't tell you if it carries your list between (former) iChat and the new Beta, I just know that's how to bring up the list 🙁
