iMessage "Delivered" theory

Personally, I'd remind the friend that as important as he or she is to me, I'm not a slave to my phone and don't always reach for it the moment a new text comes in.

Well this is it, i dont know if im unblocked now or if he is reading them through his ipad or what
And because there was no reason for me to have been blocked
It was only 3 messages total last one was to test the drlivered thing
The content of first two were very important need to know if they were ever read

Delivery information won't really tell you if something was read or not. As far as being blocked, I don't quite recall whether or not it will appear as delivered, but I believe that it will, as not to give it away to someone that they might have been blocked basically.

So i have sent some imessages to someone over the last few weeks who has blocked me... i mean i call and its blocked yet my imessage will read as delivered usually anywhere from 4 days up to a week later...
what does this mean? Does it mean he has a ipad and still gets the messages to ipad even though im blocked sending to his phone?

Like he blocked me yet my iMessages say "delivered" days later?

even if you're blocked the message will still show as delivered.

i tried this before with another iPhone just to see what would happen and this was the behaviour it gave me.

One thing that's annoying is that delivered just means delivered to one of your devices with iMessage. I have both an iPad and iPhone. I had an occasion where I was somewhere with my phone and no signal. A friend was sending me messages and was upset I wasn't returning messages since they were seeing them as delivered. Unfortunately they were getting delivered to my iPad at home and not to my phone that was with me.

But after using iPhones you realize that
1. There has to be service for the user to receive the message
2. The person receiving the message has to look at it
3. And that the ‘read’ feature tells you of the person has read it. Just turn it on
