iMessage features

My Question is simple, Apple has said that iMessage will be supported to share image, video, contact, locations. But until iOS 5 GM released this featured didn't available, we only able to sent image and video. So... what's going on?

So what's your point? Are you asking why can't mms do this?

I can't see that info? What that straight from the "Message" app of did you get that info via the "Map" app?

From the Maps App, you tap "share location". And the same goes for contacts. Tap "share contact" in the Contacts App.

From what I remember, it's always been that way.

ahh ok. Thats not quite what whatsapp does as its the app itself that sends all the info but still usable 🙂

Thanks for clearing that up, I wish they had made it easier and allowed sharing of all that straight from the iMessage window.

Also, IMO it would've been better if the map location was sent as a screenshot like a picture of the location that you could tap to open straight in iMessage(would be quicker) and from there offer an ability to open it on the Maps app if you wanted it. The way it is now, I bet when you tap on that location message it'll jump you straight to the Maps app.

It does do actual location. pretty much on the nail as well.

People won't realize what iMessage does until they notice a significant drop in their text messages per month thru AT&T, Verizon, Sprint...etc... 😎

You can also do group iMessage chat, the parties involved will have their name above the chat bubble. Blue bubbles are next to contacts with iOS 5 in the add contact feature.

Ah, you have to click on the URL to get the exact location.
