iMessage for Lion

Back in September there was all of this gossip about Apple adding iMessage to iChat. Are they still going to incorporate it into Lion?

Im afraid nobody knows at the moment.

It would seem counter-intuitive if they did not as some point.

I wish they would add it with the new 10.7.3 update. It would be really nice, until then I just changed the colors of the text bubbles to mimic iMessage.
