I recently purchased an iPhone 8 and restored from an iTunes backup.
Of course there's something that didn't quite transfer, my iMessages. For some reason they aren't working. I've tried erasing the phone and restoring it, restarting the power, and turning iMessages off and on. At first it said that iMessages must be enabled when I tried to send something. Now, I've turned iMessages off and on and nothing happens when I click "Use your Apple ID for iMessage." If I wait a while, it eventually says that it cannot connect to the server.
Any suggestions?
