iMessage in iCloud sync issue Mac and iPhone

Hope someone can help me, been having issues with iMessages between Mac and iPhone. Both have the iCloud settings to ON and both showing I have 762 messages but can see them on Mac or iPhone to remove or do anything with them.

Not sure what to do been honest
