iMessage in macOS needs a file attachment button

I find myself too often having to minimize the app to drag and drop a file, photo, etc. into the conversation. Would make things a little easier with a button to add file(s) like in the iOS version.

Not really, if your in conversation and then need to send an attachment the button would be far easier than opening the file and then sending.
There’s no reason not to have both.

That's what I don't want to do. All other platforms have an attachment button.
