If you get a text alert and you switch into iMessage through the notification banner, it takes about 2-3 seconds for the keyboard to appear.

    I'm on 6S Plus

I have the same problem with my new phone I have Att 128 6S+ Black. And actually Touch ID takes 2 to 3 seconds to open up also. Lots of things are not opening up smooth on this phone. Kind of disappointed. My old 128 6+ runs smoother. No hick ups. Might be taking it back and stick with last years version and see and wait what iPhone 7 will have to offer. So far not impressed at all.

I don't know maybe. But I've been reading a lot of people are having similar problems with the 6s+ 128. Will be doing a factory reset and see what happens

Just thought I'd mention that this happens to me on occasion as well.
