I did a fresh install of El Capitan on my 2015 rMBP but iMessage looks like it is broken beyond repair. I tried everything to get it fixed but it is stuck in inactive state. Found this post on the internet, looks like I am not the only one. Anyone knows how to fix this?

I had a chat with one of the Apple guys. Looks like it is a problem with the Apple ID itself. The guy asked me to call the local apple store and ask them to look at the Apple ID.

    IT IS BEYOND ANNOYING!

    Found the solution!

    go to appleid.apple.com

login and change the address to USA. and it works! it didn bother with my UAE payment card and UAE number so it should work!
