Hi everyone,

I'm on 6.1, iPhone 5. My iMessage pictures say "Delivered" under them, but the intended recipient doesn't ever get them. Sending as MMS DOES work, as well as normal text iMessages.

I have biteSMS installed, but the standard Messages app is having the same problem.

I tried turning iMessage off and on again, and that didn't fix it. I can also RECEIVE picture iMessages, just not send.

Any help is appreciated.

I had exactly the same problem with my 4s and it was because bitesms was installed. Once i deleted bitesms, the stock app worked fine.

I had posted on the bitesms forums, and a couple of other people had the same issue (it seems it is actually pretty rare).

The developer attempted to help, but it is hard for him to recreate without having the device in hand (he can't seem to recreate it, and it is not widespread enough to have a lot of people providing info). I eventually left bitesms, and when i came back with 6.1 jailbreak, it works great again.

Try a restore and then reinstalling the app. I'm not sure if it was a bug from another app affecting it or what. Sorry I can't help more.

Thanks for the reply! Two questions for you.

1. Do you have a link to the thread you created on biteSMS? I'd like to bump it.
2. Did simply uninstalling and reinstalling biteSMS without restoring fix the issue? Restoring is no fun, and I'd like to keep biteSMS.

I have the same problem right now. Everything was fine so I'm not so sure what triggered it. Uninstalling bitesms did not fix the issue. Couple questions for you guys/gals:

1) What bitesms version where you using (big boss or beta builds from Cydia.bitesms.com)

2) After restoring iMessage works again with bitesms?

wow I am having this same issue, dont know what happened because it was working fine and something triggered it, I will try deleting bitesms and see if that helps, I really dont want to do a restore but if I have to I will.

I ended up restoring. Deleted pretty much every tweak including bitesms with no luck.

I have this same issue, used to work before, I don't know when this happened. Going to try and uninstall BiteSMS and see if the native SMS app will work.

You might want to try using the beta BiteSMS for now, the latest version supposedly fixed messaging not sending or repeating alerts.

cydia.bitesms.com

So I uninstalled biteSMS and the native SMS app also wasn't sending MMS. I reinstalled biteSMS again. Just removed Manuel Correct, sent an iMessage MMS from my phone to my iPad and still nothing. :/

cydia.bitesms.com doesn't have anything except the bitesms I already have installed. No listing for a beta version or anything. :(

when you remove the tweaks, you need to do a restart first. try removing them again and restarting and then testing.

actually, when I added the bitesms.cydia.com source, it had an update to my biteSMS that wasn't there. I installed the update, sent myself another picture from my phone to my iPad through iMessage and it worked! I haven't tested it out to non iMessage users yet, but so far I think Manual Correct was the culprit. Now I just have to break the habit of touching the screen for a correction.

I'm having the same issue as well, but I don't have biteSMS installed.

iPhone 5 6.1.2 jailbroken. My iPad 2 and iPhone 4s send pics fine with no issues at all using iMessage.

Regular text message pics send fine

you don't need to have biteSMS installed to get this problem. if you have this problem, only having the latest beta of biteSMS can fix it (as of right now; doesn't seem like anyone is interested into pushing a fix to this on cydia)

We FOUND the EXACT cause. It’s 2 Apple coding categories conflicting with each other.

If your iPhone is not Jailbroken, then librairies always load in the same order thus the 2 categories do not conflict with each other. If you are Jailbroken then that’s not the case depending on what tweaks you have installed (those that use IMAGENT). It’s completely random if it works or does not work for you, and a reboot influiences this.

Impossible to fix….? well yes and no. We can’t fix it of course if you don’t have bite installed but if you do, we’ll add a low-level hook to prevent the 2 categories clashing. So, the funny thing is if you have this issue then you’ll HAVE TO use biteSMS to get iMessage multi-media working on your iPhone. I guess that’s our Karma for spending weeks of time on it ;-)

It’s fixed in biteSMS Release 7.5 Beta 3 out now.
