So i finally got my macbook pro to work with my phone number and this opened up all new problems. I have bad cell reception at work so i usually turn imessage off. Turns out even if i text my gf from my phone with iMessage turned off, hers still send as iMessages and i dont get them on my phone they just go to my mac. i was hoping that my text would trigger her phone to text back. Anyone came across this yet or have any solutions?

iMessage is BUTT

With me, my iMessages was turned on in the iPhone and I still didn't get the messages. My MacBook Pro had all of the messages, but they wouldn't sync with the iPhone. I tried turning off the account on the MacBook and now all of my messages are gone on both devices. What was supposed to be a helpful feature is actually ass. Any thoughts from anyone???

Have this problem as well, my imessages are only going to my computer; not my phone, Are this proper behavior......i prefer if it is one or the other to get my messages on my phone......What settings to I change in the mean time?

But do you not either have your Mac with you OR switched off?

The problem you have is that messages are going to be seen as 'delivered' by iMessage if they are getting through to any of your devices.

if u exit messages on the Mac they still come through the notification center
