iMessage timestamps?

Hi all,

Is there a way to get time stamps to show in iMessage?

shameless bump, because not having timestamps means missing context and missing context means I may have to go back to whatsapp which I would not want to do (it's server just isn't that reliable)

Both iMessage and SMS have timestamps, but they come whenever they feel like it, which isn't often enough. I wouldn't mind each text having its own timestamp, but I'm used to the way it is now.
