iMessage trick?

Hey does anyone know how to you change the background image of iMessage on OS X Mountain Lion, than just the plain old linen background? i think that'd be cool if i could change it! 😀

Apparently you can try:

• Find Messages application in Finder
• Right Click, and select "Show Package Contents"
• Open "Resources" folder
• replace "linen.tiff" file with you own texture that's also called "linen.tiff" (be sure to back up the original file).

I have NOT tried this myself so please bear this in mind.
