iMessage us to japan ??!?

Just curious if I can drop whatsapp for this...

I have tried two message one by number and one by email address for the japanese phone with no luck


Any idea if this works?

Yes. It should work fine.

It should, as long as both iDevices have iOS 5 installed with iMessage enabled.

Either or should work. The message to the number should convert to an imessage, make sure this happens or you will be charged international sms fees I believe.
