iMessage won't activate?

my iMessage won't activate on my phone number with iOS 8.

I even wiped the phone but still no luck.😡

Did you do a remote wipe? If so, it's normal for iMessage to take up to 24 hours to activate.

Yeah, I learned that the hard way. 🙁 Glad it wasn't something more sinister.

Edit: Mine activated literally 24 hours after the remote wipe.
