iMessage won't take password for Apple ID

I've updated my phone to the GM, I can get iMessages sent to my phone number, but when I associate my Apple ID with it, it just keeps bringing up the password prompt.

I know I'm typing it correctly, and it works with the App Store... any ideas?

Same thing happened to me when I first installed the beta. I changed my password and it worked. No idea why.

I vaguely recall Apple increasing the requirements of the passwords. They might just now be forcing it on you *shrug*
