iMessages and Apple Watch Question

Does anyone know if I "do not disturb" a contact on my iPhone will it also DnD on my watch if I have Mirror my iPhone turned off and set to custom?

So there's no way to mute a contact on the iPhone but allow it on the watch?

Not that I'm aware of.

Thanks but when I DnD the phone the watch is also set to DnD. Unless I'm missing a setting somewhere?

In the Watch app, go to General > Do Not Disturb and turn off mirroring. This will let you put the phone into DND and not affect the Watch.

It's possible to enable/disable DnD per contact via SMS/iMessage but not for phone calls as far as I can see.

That's a good idea. That might solve the problem for me. Thank you! I should have have thought about that myself
