Well ever since my brother upgraded to his new iPhone iMessages thinks we are having two different conversations. He sends me one iMessage his name appears then if he sends me another message it appears under his name but in a separate conversation. There really is no rhyme or reason, but it is hard to follow what he is saying when it splits stuff up like this. The only thing I found in google is this and it's exactly what's happening.

How do I fix this?

Caller ID.

Does he have two devices capable of iMessage, like a Mac, iPad, iPod? If so, he needs to set the iMessage caller ID to the same address or phone number on both devices.

Nope he just switched to a new iPhone 5 from 3gs. All messages are from his iPhone 5.

Go in one conversation and scroll to the top. Tap the contact and what number or email is the color blue. Remember it.

Then repeat the same steps for the other conversation. Are the blue color text the same?

I know a girl who has an iPad and texts me from it using her email address. Then uses her iPhone when shes on the go and I have two conversations. Let me know.. I hope this helps bud.
