iMessages "Read Response"

I don't get the read response. Mine always says "Delivered" but never tells me when they other person reads it. Any thoughts?

read receipts is off by default. Enable it in settings first.

the people you are imessaging with need to have it enabled, thats all

If you read the description under the setting it says "allow others to be notified when you have read their messages"

Aka, the person you are iMessaging will have to turn the setting on in order for you to see when they have read it.

It is enabled on my GF's phone. It doesn't display on mine. WTF

It's not that you need to enable it - the other people you're chatting with need to... if you read the setting, it's to send others read receipts.
