iMessages taking up over a gig in space but Top Conversations says Zero KB

I don’t understand why messages are taking up over 1 GB in space. I’ve deleted all attachments sent to me by anybody. When I go into iMessages in the iCloud storage it says Top Conversations are taking up 0 KB. Is that a glitch? I don’t know how to reduce the amount of space my messages are taking up

Apparently iOS 15 STILL has storage size reporting issues. It’s been an ongoing problem for some since iOS 15.0

Apparently iOS 15 STILL has storage size reporting issues. It’s been an ongoing problem for some since iOS 15.0

I updated to 15.4.1 and it resolved the issue. Messages only taking up a few KB now.
