Imesssage fails to send every once in a while

no matter how many times I "retry" I ultimately have to send as text message.. Then every Imessage works after.

I've noticed it. Could be a symptom of what kind of signal the person you are sending a message to is getting.

It's been this way for both iOS 7 and 8 for me. You have to delete that last text and try sending the message again. It sucks.

My wife's iPhone 5s has this same exact problem. Here's hoping 8.2 fixes it.

never thought of doing that, i typically just tap the message and send as text
