Using my old PM8600 I've converted several hundred of my old LPs to digital -- the ol' Mac came with RCA in and out jacks and I used Premiere to capture and edit.

Both my G4PB and my new mini do not have RCA ins, of course. I currently own an iMic and its "OK", but I really need to upgrade this. I need something that will allow me better control of the sound level into the Mac. I'm not looking for something at the "pro" level -- but definitely an upgrade from the iMic.

I plan on continuing to convert LPs, and also to record FM from my receiver using GB and other audio capture software packages.

Any suggestions?
