Imitrex - What do you do when it doesn't work?

A friend of mine (ok my mom) gets migraine headaches all the time, but says that Imitrex doesn't work for her. Does anyone here at MR get migraines and what do you take for it?

See your GP/specialist and ask about other triptans. I think it was Zolmitriptan (sold under the name "Zomig" in the UK) that I found slightly more effective than Sumatriptan (Imigran/Imitrex).

Imitrex was like water for me. It did nothing. Butabital works reasonably well, though.
