is it possible? I like having access to a remote server natively inside the os and it frustrates me that I would be forced to .mac

gracias 🙂

for a nice feature like that, I wouldn't mind learning. I have friends that are much better than I that might be able to teach me had I the knowledge of direction.

has nobody tried it before?

I read some site, about someone installing a webdav on a mac-server? And using it to make his osx believe it was the .mac server. It was a whole lot of work. I read it months before I got a mac....

Too bad, because I do not see the use of the .mac account, when I have my own webserver/rootservers...

it seems like 'notmac' is dead in terms of leopard. I will download later when I can, but it doesn't look like there have been any updates lately.

but thanks! I will look more into notmac as well as dotmac, a new up and coming.

hmm, well turns out my server has a nice little script that it runs to do exactly what I wanted... go figure. Now I have access to my web space inside os x. nice 🙂
