Just a quick update. I contacted imos on Facebook and they agreed to send me a replacement even though I did not buy it from them directly. It is shipped via Fedex from Taiwan.

I then since tried to work on the screwed up adhesive and managed to have it work (though tiny thin bubble at the corner because the glue is not 100% flat now). Can't seem to get it to work with Apple Silicon with the first few attempts as one corner always lifts, but works well with Spigen Capsule.

The oleophobic coating is absolutely wonderful to the touch. It is easier to install then Ice MAX 3D for sure.
So happy to hear that Imos came through for you! Outstanding!

Got it yesterday via 2-day FedEx shipping. The customer service is excellent!
Now that will likely be my backup screen protector since I managed to get my screwed up one to be functional (albeit a few scratches to remove excessive adhesive).

I actually like imos better than ICE MAX 3D, but imos is double the price.

Well, I got my IMOS today after trying a bunch of other 3D protectors. I tried the Cinder (x2), Ice Max 3D (x2) and the Topaz. However, all of them had adhesion issues under the painted parts, which is just unacceptable as it lets dirt and dust collect between the phone and the protector.

IMOS seems to be the only protector that has a decent adhesive material under the painted parts as it does not have this issue. What was a challenge was getting the film off the middle part of the protector. I tried using the dust sticker as per the instructions, which didn't work. I tried using tape which also didn't work. I finally had to peel it off using my finger nail. Thankfully the protector turned out OK.

IMOS is definitely the best 3D protector out there at the moment. The competitors just cant seem to get the adhesive material right.

Anyone that used the imos v2 and the cinder?
How is the thickness of the imos v2 vs cinder?
Is it noticably thicker?

Cinder is thinner but no sensitivity issues for the imos, I love imos's oleophobic coating, it stays smooth!

Finally upgraded to a 6S Plus and got the imos glass for it!

For those in the US are you getting these form the Canadian eBay seller? Or is there somewhere else that has these? Very interested in trying one. Have tried 2 of the Daswise and have not had luck with the adhesive. Theses look very nice. Thanks.

this iMos is really good i've dropped my 6s plus from table top without any casing and it still has no scratches on it.
the oleophobic coating is awesome after 3 months still very smooth, i feel it's even smoother compared to naked iphone screen, the only problem of the imos is the case compability, and expensive price, but other than that, iMos is the best screen protector for the iphone 6 series to date.
[doublepost=1456056415][/doublepost]here's a picture of iMos v2 on one of my friend's customer phone

my friend is the authorized reseller of iMos in Indonesia
so if you are from Indonesia, Singapore, or somewhere nearby, maybe i can help you with iMos, thank you.

Anyone know if the IMOS is compatible with the veil xt?
People have posted elsewhere that the Veil XT works with both Cinder and Godosmith Ice Max, both of which are comparable to the IMOS. This isn't a guarantee, of course, but it does bode well.

By far this is the best screen protector out there. I dropped my phone a while back and my imos broke but the screen remains flawless. Currently using the Cupert Eclipse and the oleophobis coating sucks, nothing compares to imos and ICE MAX 3D.

Ive read your comments in other threads and noted you had both the IMOS and the ICE MAX. Is the IMOS really worth spending an extra $40 on? Have you ever had any chipping issue with either?

I am in Canada and honestly the three of them , Cinder/ICE MAX/imos are about the same price ish. I honestly do think imos is worth the price tag as the coating is amazing, though it is thicker than Cinder for sure (assuming Cinder is the same as Eclipse). I also find imos easier to apply and reapply than ICE MAX.

As to the difference of the high end vs. the $10 ones, there are some...such as the edge (smooth or not) and the coating. All glass protector will crack if dropped to the ground, but they should be able to protect the screen. Imos protected mine. No chip before that.

What is so great about this screen protector? I have never heard of it before this thread, but it looks like a great case. I have an iPhone with the white front, and I absolutely hate it so wanna find one that has a black front that will cover it and make it look like it has a real black front

Thanks for the info. The reason I ask about the chipping is I have read lots of posts where people have had unexplained cracks/chips in the Cinder and ICE Max, but I can't find any reports of chips or cracks in an IMOS unless it is dropped.

Someone confirmed in another thread that Cinder and ICE Max have been confirmed not to use the corning gorilla glass like they claimed. I'm wondering if the .2mm thinness and lack of corning glass is why the Cinder and ICE MAX seem more fragile than the .4mm corning glass IMOS.

Incorrect. That has not been confirmed. Either they didn't know or you read incorrectly.

They aren't licensed to advertise that they use Corning's Gorilla Glass, but they still do.

Actually, I emailed Corning directly to confirm and they said that Gorilla Glass is not authorized for use screen protectors period. They said it is only used in actual devices. There is a product they say is used called "Accessory Glass by Corning". So according to Corning themselves, anyone who claims to be using the "Gorilla Glass" product is not being truthful. I've definitely seen the Ice Max claim to use Gorilla Glass. I believe I saw the same claim by Cinder, but I can't find it again.

When I asked for a list of products which use their "Accessory Glass by Corning" line, Corning only mentioned NVD in their Shield Tech product but said it couldn't comment further.

Just read through the "Where is Cinder" thread to see what you were referring to about "license to advertise".

Based on what Corning told me directly, Cupert is just trying to spin the truth. According to Corning, if they were really using Corning glass they could advertise it just like NVD does. Look them up and you'll find it lists Corning on their package. And remember Corning gave me their name as an example. The only reason Cupert wouldn't be able to advertise it is because they don't actually use Corning glass.
