Just wanted to share a problem I've come across since upgrading to iLife 08 (yes, ok, I've only just upgraded).
If I've got a DVD image mounted in Finder, I can't load iMovie 08 up without it crashing after about 30 seconds while it attempts to update the iPhoto thumbnails.
The DVD image is just a standard video DVD image file created by iDVD and mounted in Finder normally.
The simple fix to this is to just unmount the DVD image but in case anyone else is scratching their head over this, or has wisdom to share, I thought a quick post was in order.
I've sent a couple of error reports back to Apple on this with the hope it's patched in the future.
