iMovie 08 decreses video quality

Hey,

I was using iMovie 08 to upload a video to youtube, normally they are really clear when i do a straight upload, but I wanted to put scrolling credits this time, so i put them in, then uploaded to youtube, medium size, and the quality is terrible. Why is that? The resolution was the default not 1920 x 1080

Yeah that happens to me too. This is why I never upgraded to iMovie '08, I still use iMovie HD '06.

Does iMovie HD '06 have better video quality than the newer iMovies?

I used iMovie '08 and am now using '09 and I have noticed that the quality is quite a bit lower than the other videos I have uploaded to youtube directly as "AVI" files.

I just find '06 A LOT easier to use. The video quality is quite good. It may be better than the other versions of iMovie.
