iMovie 08 Export Advice

I need some help exporting video from iMovie 08. I would like a resolution that looks good in full screen using Front Row on a 24" iMac.

I have imported video (16:9 and 960 x 540) from a Cannon camcorder in DV format.

I have tried the export to itunes to view it in Front Row as the iMovie help page instructed. However, it will not allow me to use the large setting and resizes the video to 640 x 360. This looks awful and pixilated. The "export movie" setting also limits the size to 640 x 360.

Any suggestions?

Can I use an export to quicktime instead? Will this work with Front Row, itunes, or AppleTv?

I think I partly answered my own question. I used the "Export to Quicktime" choice. I choose the best quality setting.

By the way, I was recording in 16:9 format onmy DV camcorder. The dimensions are 853 x 480 and not the 960 x 540 I stated earlier. Apparently the 960 x 540 is the default.

Under the "Export to Quicktime" box there is a choice to change the dimension.
