    Hi,

this is the first time this has happened to me. I shot a short, 2 minute movie in about 10 parts. I tried to import them into imovie to put the movie together, but it only made thumbnails for three out of the ten clips. The videos are in my events library when looking at it in finder, but there are not thumbnails for them in the events library in imovie. There seems to be no way to work with them without the thumbnails,

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

You could try moving the affected video files out to your desktop and try reimporting the from the File menu->Import Movies... and directing the browser to each file. The other thing to consider is what format these video files are, iMovie 08 prefers .mov, .mp4, and .dv files, though that's not to say that other formats are not compatible.

no, I ended up using iSquint to convert them to mp4 and then I imported them, and it worked
