When I download the free iMovie HD program off of Apple.com, it says I'm unable to because I don't have iLife '06. Since I have '08, is there any way I can download it without paying for iLife '06 so I have something good while I wait for '09?

Don't know where to look for that folder. Wait, I forgot to say, I didn't ever have iLife '06. I just got my Mac in November.

So you never had '06 and it's stopping you from using it because you only have ever had '08?

Yes. It says to first install iLife '06 when I install it.

EDIT: It actually says install iLife '08 when I try to install it.

EDIT: It is the right link, but it tells me to install iLife '08 first.

Well, I think you should install iLife 08 first then.:D
However, I think it seems like you already have it installed, so I would just recommend installing it again.
Good Luck!

But which install disk has iLife '08? Because like I said, it came installed into my computer.

You should be able to find the iLife software on Disk 1 of your System Restore disks that shipped with the computer under the heading "Additional Software Restore" or something of that nature (been awhile since I have had to do that since I keep full backups of all my drives).
