I don't own a mac but I'm really leaning towards one as I'm getting into video editing. I currently use Adobe Premiere Elements 7 and I'm finding it to be slow when adding many transition effects and so forth.
My question is when you're putting together a 5 min or longer HD video in iMovie 09 with some fair amount of transition effects, does the program slow down at all when editing and previewing your work?
