hi,
I'll try to explain this the best I can:
I am making a movie in imovie 09. I needed to be able to change the video clips while still running the audio (music) in perfect time so that when I cut back it was still in sync so I added the same clip but used only the audio - this worked. Now, when I split a clip and add another clip (exactly the same length) in it's place, the video and audio after the replaced clip do not match - they are slightly off. Why is this happening and how do I fix it. Please help me, my project has come to a complete stop and I just can't figure out why!
Beth

Select the clip and user the 'Detach Audio' under the Edit menu. From there you can edit the video without affecting the audio. That what it looks like anyway.
