imovie 09 only importing sound

Hi,

just got the new imovie 09 and am trying to import video from my SonyHandyCam DCR HC46. The computer recognises it and i can even control it through imovie but it only imports the sound and the screen is blue !

I am using the firewire plug and have done this sucsessfully before using the same camera but an older version of imovie.

Anyone have an idea of what might be the problem ?

Make sure the camera is recording in SP mode.
