iMovie 09 Rookie

This is my first experience with iMovie. It is an 09 version. How do I fade out the music at the end to match the project I've created? There must be a simple step. Can you assist me with this process?

I think that if you put your mouse over the audio track, there will be a little cogwheel appear. You can set a fade from there. Not at my Mac, so can't be 100% sure.
