iMovie 09 stabilizer - screenoff

When I use the stabilizer function of iMovie09 and turn the screen off using a hot corner the screen jumps on again after a few secs, with 9 hours to go this is not what I would like.

Is there a workaround

I've not found one, and agree its a massively annoying problem. My iMac shares a room with my one year old, so having the ability to switch the screen off (and for it to stay off) is a must.

I have the same problem as well.. But I solved in a strange way... Cover the screen with a towel. xD 😀
